Footprints in the sand at Sandy Point National Wildlife Reserve on the island of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Exploring the western end of St. Croix on our visit three years ago, we ventured to the Sandy Point National Wildlife Reserve which is home to some of the islands leatherback sea turtles. It was obvious there were no turtles in sight as the sand beneath our feet was untouched before we walked the beach.
