This is the symbol of a community no one wants to belong to but many, many do. Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for a Cure draws some of the largest crowds in the United States and brings together tens of thousands to commemorate and celebrate the lives of the those inflicted with breast cancer. We walk for my mother, Jeanette, who passed away in 1987.
